I was just there in almost exactly a year ago. 4 Jeeps, 3 with 40+ tires and 1 on 35's. Everyday we went out, we ran in to fallen trees blocking trails, some we could go around/over, others we had to back-up. None of us had chainsaws and the trees were big and long enough that winching wasn't much of an option. We stopped at Lion's Den, a couple of us were going to try it but after the drop there was a big tree that was down that we couldn't go under or over. We had to put it on our return bucket list. Since then, I vowed to that someone in the group would have a saw of some sort and when we make it back to Black Mountain we'll definitely have a chainsaw

i really like this channel, and i have seen every show, but i did have to unsubscribe because i was getting notifications for this channel *everyday* but most of the time it was just a post that reminded us to watch an old show, or just mentioning a memory of an old episode. everyday it was a post from bleepinjeep, but in realty there was only a new show once a week. i am an old timer that doesn't need to see a social media post everyday to remind me to watch something. I will watch a new show when it is released, but i do not need to have one channel at the top of my video feed every morning to only be reminded of old content.

Those 43-in Super Swampers are looking really good on the Scorpion. I like how that tire size and the rear steer allowed the Scorpion to slither through the rock garden, at the entry to Lions Den, and other obstacles on the trail, with relative ease, where others were winching through. Bumble's looking much better without the doors and rear hatch, more rock crawler looking. Losing 350 plus pounds of useless weight certainly didn't hurt.
@bleepinjeep5 ай бұрын
ya I think Josh is gonna like the performance much better, not only the weight but being able to see better.

That trail is easy peasy. I’ve done it in my stock JKu sport, on 31s with no lockers! 😂 But seriously, that’s a hardcore trail! That drop in lions den is no joke! And the section after is gnarly as well! Hell of a video guys.

A collision repair specialist told me that all new cars with the windshield glued in is engineered as structure for the body since they dont have full chassis anymore, and i know a lot of cracked windshields are from rocks flicking up of the tires, but maybe good to beef up the window frames to prevent crackage. 2 cents given

Can you please help me find the relative static ground clearance a vehicle would have with Dana 44 axles front and rear and 30 inch tires. ( I realize that the vehicle would or could gain alot of ground clearance once shocks and suspension is added to it). Or how I could calculate it out for myself. I'm guessing that there is a calculator on the internet somewhere. Or a basic formula that I could use if I knew it. Thanks
