Hi my friend, hi everyone. Well, you should have seen the total amazement on my face when we got the snow on the fir tree branches on the table layer..Brilliant. I have been trying to get the snow/frost effect for a few weeks now & got nowhere near this quality. I for one am going to have fun making snow on everything now :) Blend-if is soooo powerful & the feathering effect when you split the sliders is awesome, thanks Nemanja you have made my day. I will play with this effect a lot & use it in other situations. See you ALL soon :-) :-) Liked too.

Do you know any way to preserve current layer cutout, when using Underlying Layer? Like merge/rasterize the current effect considering whole layer stack beneath it? It seems to impossible, only solutions for This Layer do exist...

This was great, thanks! I have watched so many other blend if tutorials and was still quite lost. You really clarified a lot of things for me. For example, using the color wheel was brilliant! You are the first person I have heard say that one end of the slider is for a particular color (RGB), while the opposite end is for its compliment. Such a funamental concept and it is critical to understaning the sliders!
