I get visual pleasure, it's like watching a fire in a fireplace. I'm a beginner and I want to learn a lot in a blender, but I also love this kind of meditative work, it calms me down when you can see how the forms are formed.I learned even more about polygons, thanks a lot 😊

Hello sir. Thanks for such nice videos although I dont understand much as I am new to blender. I found some of your models on blendswap and was excited to use them in my project but the problem is that they have become too much high poly. For example I made a pillar and put different models on it and it's become high poly even making my view port laggy. Is there a way to convert it to low poly or bake it to low poly model of the pillar? Thanks in advance.

Have you tried 2.8 yet and what do you think of the new improvements to the grease pencil?
@1DInciner6 жыл бұрын
Hi. Well, as far as I am diamond donator, I supporting 2.8 deelopment, but I've got too much dependencies with 2.79 on my job, that I can't move to 2.8. So I didn't even tried it yet.

Since 2.8 vertices selection is extremely dim because of a fresnel effect and is not properly compatible with youtube codecs, so resulting videos are painful to watch.

Any modeling with 2.8 ?
@1DInciner5 жыл бұрын
No, 2.8 is not designed for complex organic modeling, but it have nice eevee engine for fast production rendering) So it is used as eevee standalone.

@@1DInciner I think you should redownload 2.8 because its a damn good modeler

@@hameddesign70 there are still shading and wire display isuues, also we didn't update our addons for it. But it is nice for linear modeling, because of updated bevel.

@@1DInciner Does that mean there is going to no 1d_inc scripts for new Blender releases?

@@urbandecay3436 that depends on Blender developers. Basically, 1D_Scripts was an investigation toolset dedicated to "what should be fixed in Blender", which was commonly ignored during 2.8 development. We're trying to empower them to deal with workflow issues.

@@1DInciner Yeah, try sculpting, it takes a few minutes. Poygon plucking is completely old-fashioned and takes a long time.
@1DInciner2 жыл бұрын
@@cr4723 sculpting is a shape-defining tool, so sculpting + retopology is an up to 3 times slower workflow in case of subd organic modeling from exact reference.
@cr47232 жыл бұрын
@@1DInciner Do you think? I think it depends on what you need the models for. You need Retopo for games or painting, but not for still renderings. And Retopo doesn't take as long as hours of polygon plucking. But to each his own. ;)
@1DInciner2 жыл бұрын
@@cr4723 We've tested) It's much harder to follow accurate projected references with a freehand tool, and retopo takes the same amount of time as far as a workflow for variable density topological meshes is exactly the same as shown in this video. Technically, sculpt+retopo is the same workflow as in this timelapse, but with sculpting.
