21:12 when i tab out of texture painting and deselect my painting progress doesnt save, am i doing smth wrong?

Do you mean the painted section just go away when you come out of texture paint? If this is the case then it could be just a glitch or maybe less free ram on your system, you should keep a habit of saving your images after a few minutes, So you don't lose your progress
