I'm using Blender 4.0.2. Not sure if its the version, I had to add loop cuts in both X and Y as well as the Z axis before this would look as it does in the video.

When I add the subdiv surface modifier, it turns into a sausage. What settings is he using to keep it a smooth rectangle instead of rounding out _all_ the edges?

Make sure to add enough loop cuts

when u add sub surface, you will have 2 options, catmul clark and some other one in that modifier, one of them retains the saime shap, the other makes the suacage

He added loop cuts on X, Y, and Z axis. In the video he just showed loop cuts along the Z axis. I had the same issue until I did the same.

I have one questuon that i cannot find, if i render in image sequence and i stop or turn off my pc, ill be able to start where i miss or should i render the first images agsin??

That's one of the advantages in rendering images sequences, you can simply resume your rendering from the last finished image.

If you must add artificial mouse clicks and other sound effects, can you pick ones that are not ear piercing in the heights? Seriously, take the mouse click, drop it into audacity, put an EQ on it and cut the highs by half.

Screw modifier isn't working the same way, with screw you can make a twisted mesh with a random curve like a circle, while using simple deform you're twisting an existing mesh on the desired axis
