Just a lil tip, you can always alt+click to select all faces of a side, then head over to "select" in the bottom left corner, and "Checker Deselect" this will select every alternate face for you automatically, without having you go around your entire object manually selecting each face as you do at 9:15

when you want to have every other face selected,, just alt click it to make it select all faces on a loop, then click checker deselect from the selection menu.

why does he make a circle like that and not use the circle as it comes when you just add it ? I had some other problems, I applied the scale after resizing the circle to be the size of a real cupcake and when I did the scale in the vertices to have that shape of the cupcake holder it changed the 4 vertices of the 4 edges of the circle, I hope I was clear with that. And the other thing is that when I tried resizing the base of the cupcake holder, instead of just making it smaller by the walls of it, it created another base in the outer part of the holder, as if it had another edge around the circle.

hi,can someone say why his blender workspace looks very different from mine?,,i opened my blender by clicking general option but i am not getting the same workspace as his..
@brawni3dsarahbrawn2453 жыл бұрын
His workspace is most likely blender 2.79, an older version of yours. don't fret through, the process he uses is very similar, if not exactly the same (I'm doing it now on 2.9) to your version of blender, you might just have to go digging for the tabs and settings a little more :)
