Ponte I want to thank you and Josh You guys make great tutorials. I have a question in this video at 19:31 you used "Q", Operations, then Uniquify. My problem is that I don't have Uniquify on my window. I'm running Blender 4.0.1 if that matters. I was wondering is that hidden somewhere and I need to turn that on? Well thaniks again for the great tutorials.

In Israel and Palestine they are living under carpet bombing h 24 and a guy can't handle the pressure of releasing a game environment course. Lol. I'm really looking forward for this tutorial Ryu, I've purchased your trim sheet environment course and it was really well done and high quality. I have only one specific request: please use some of your male/female relationship advice analogies to piss off redditors, I f love them ahahah

Is there any reason we need to modular the scenes in blender before exporting to a game engine, instead of modelling the full scene/set/building/room etc in full in blender, then exporting it
@PonteRyuurui10 ай бұрын
You can instance most of it inside of the engine.
@indianastilts10 ай бұрын
@PonteRyuurui amazing. I've been a designer for long time but mostly in game engine. I'm newish to modelling and thought if it is possible to model the whole scene in blender with props and the whole room for example and then export it all over to the game engine? I see soo many though modular them instead of create it all in blender. Just wandering why People simply export it all when they are happy with it in blender and then do the game part in the game engine?? There is an obvious answer somewhere but I'm being a Noob and don't know why people seperate them all into parts to re put it back together in the game engine?
@PonteRyuurui10 ай бұрын
@@indianastilts Well, like i said, it is instancing. When you instance elements in the game engine it is far less taxing on the performance. You will need to re-build it inside of the game engine anyways. If you export the whole thing you will end up with numerous duplicates which is simply redundant and not well optimized.

Yeah, talks about the need to be precise, then shows he can't figure out height based on the grid.
