Not sure if you'll see this question since the video is so old, but if you wanted the countdown timer to start at 15 minutes, do you make 2 separate animations, one for the minutes and one for the seconds? If so, how do you loop the seconds so it resets for each minute. Is there an easier way to do a 15 minute countdown with animation nodes?

Is it possible to do this with the video editor workspace? When I got to Text Object Output, it wasn't available as an option, only Camera when I had Text selected in the sequencer

This doesn't work for followed everything, the animation tab is there so are the nodes but when I put the text data into the "Text Object Output" it doesn't change a thing I tried changing the settings and stuff not really doing anything any suggetions?

Thanks for the tutorial, may you tell me how to add more dots into the counter? If i want to count the animation up to 1000000 but written like "1.000.000 ". I cant manage to do this with the node setup shown and have no idea which node could be useful for that :/

It says for version 2.8, but when I use the zip file on 2.8.16 (clean install on Windows 10) it errors with an import error: "DLL load failed. The specified module could not be found".

I queried the github folks and got the answer: For windows you need to install this C++ redistribution from Miicrosoft: x64: vc_redist.x64.exe , after I did that it worked fine.
