In this video we will be creating a Blending Vector art. Creating two design each with different techniques. We will be using pen tool to draw the curves, Blend tool to add the effects and Gradient tool to add colours. Check out the video to see the whole process!

How do I get the flat grey background and How do I get rid of the green lines on each artboard? Edit: I answered my own question... set the grid colors in Document Setup as the same colors, otherwise it will stay the checkered background.

Hey, one question> whenever I try to export I get this a kind of moire defect so to speak, I'm not sure about the terminology but the lines aren't crisp / clean at all. It all looks good when I zoom into the actual blend whilst inside Illustrator, but when I zoom out I get the same kind of 'moire' defect even within Illustrator. Is there a workaround?

Thanks for tutorial . Want to ask this vectoral art could we directly export to blender? or in Illustrator there are some 3d options then could we save as .obj .I find it very interesting to have form 3d stamped after this spontaneous tries but since far couldnt succeed what to search in illustrator and internet to go the that directions. May I ask as a next step a second video this vectoral art turn to 3d object using 3d features of illustrator or if it is possible with the adobe programs or need a other directions to search.. Agreed.. Can someone help with this? When I make a background using a shape with a fill color and I move the shape over it, the square is always in front. And when I double click the blend layer, it blends. Also can't adjust the stroke of the shape or it's stroke color.

ill Pill Make a new layer and make a square that fills all of the artboard and then lock the layer, so you can't affect the square whenever you're doing something else.
