You know I was looking at alternative sippy type lids for my blendjet 2 which I think is awesome by the way,but some options only worked if you turned it upside down and screwed lid on the bottom which I definitely didn't want to do. I thought why don't blendjet actually do one and well here it is. I've ordered mine and looking forward to getting it. Nice review

Stay away from Blendjet. Very poorly made with cheap & nasty plastic and 15 month after the recall, I still haven't received my 2 replacement Blendjets. Buyer beware!

Perhaps the BlendJet 3 will include it as the default lid, but for the millions of people who have a BlendJet 2, it's a great addition, whether it's a few dollars more expensive than people would prefer or not. Don't you agree?

They need to maker it where you can tip it up side down , unscrew it and put the drink lid on the bottom. I dont want to carry around the entire blender . The lid is overpriced to begin with they need to make it worth it.

That's an interesting idea, to have the "top" become the bottom so that you can unscrew the entire blender part. My guess would be that they've experimented with that and for various reasons it hasn't worked out. It might also be outside of the parameters of their patents too. Maybe another company makes something more in line with what you seek?

Ninja blast is better. It already comes with a sipping lid and you can turn it upside down unscrew the base and screw on a bottom lid so you don’t have to take the entire thing with you sometimes you won’t need to take the base so it doesn’t make sense why blendjet hasn’t done that too

Sounds like you might not have put the top on properly. mine's never leaked, and I certainly haven't heard any stories (or had anyone else ever comment) on explosions. Did you perhaps have something hot that you were trying to blend?
