What a peaceful looking town. No tagging or cars blaring horrible music... amazing.

There is, and you'll get raped there easier than in any other new Zealand town, especially if you're LGBT+.

You left out the river walk down by the new library . Great video i grew up in Blenheim

Changed but the same from when I left in late 80s. Down by river is missing a bridge, but had great seating for relaxation on the embankments.

@@walknroll I read somewhere that Nelson has plenty of American expatriates living there; and the person that was informing the readers that because of the high numbers of American expatriates living there it’s likely an American colony; would you say that it’s like being a American colony because of the high numbers of American expatriates living there?
@walknroll Жыл бұрын
Hi Moa. Thanks for watching 😉. Although I am not living in Nelson, I've been there a couple of times, and I did not see any American around. In my opinion, I can not say that Nelson is an American colony, far away from that

I’m surprised that there’s an underground life; and that there are dangerous people living in the Blenheim area. The streets are extremely clean with no trash scattered everywhere like there is in the United States.
@tamatirangiuaia140 Жыл бұрын
Lol there's a big drug scene and gang scene which I know because I have family in that scene there and some are just angry dangerous people. Hence why i barely go there

I was born here in 1955 and lived here ever since. It is stupid to call Blenheim 'dangerous', it is one of the safest towns in the world. Of course there is a criminal element but less so than most other urban locations; for a while I drove taxis on the night shift and met the worst that Blenheim has to offer, it is tame compared to most other centres.
