I think I understand why Battalion would be so angry, he did have a lot of weight on his shoulders. And I'm not talking just those pads. 1) He must have constantly been afraid of turning evil like his father. 2) He is a leader and thus bears the burden of such a role. 3) He is an older brother who must also act as a father figure. 4) He has a lot of guilt over the supposed deaths of the other members of Stormwatch Prime. Geez, with all of that its a miracle he didn't crack like an egg.

There's a reason why my moniker is "Grifter"Uno. I think It would've been better if Jim Lee would kept Wildcats, Stormwatch and the whole Wildstorm Universe as its own comic universe. It was a forward thinking company always pushing artistic boundaries. Btw, I'm proud to own the whole Warren Ellis run, from when he took over Stormwatch, eventually disbanded them and turned them into The Authority. Warren and The Authority singlehandedly changed the face of Superheroes in comic books forever. I remember loving that Marvel & DC had to play catch-up for a while.

If you’re looking to do another video on overlooked Black comic characters may I suggest Obregon Kaine from the Cross-Gen series The Negation? Awesome character, superb writing. He has no powers of his own but because he’s especially tactically minded he successfully leads a team of supers. In some respects he reminds me of Billy Butcher from The Boys or Benito Santini from Stormwatch Team Achilles.

@rell1273 жыл бұрын
@Abhikrishna PS No those characters mattered before Disney Black Panther had the longest running series for a Black character before Disney. Hell T'challa also has had his own event before can you say that about any Black character at DC. Storm has been a major force in comics especially X-men she's lead the most popular teams in comics multiple times for years stretches. Has Vixen ever did that with the Leauge? Falcon been a major factor in Captain America and in the Avengers way before Disney hell he first became Captain America for 2 issues in the 90's at one point. Luke Cage blow up way before Disney from just being around from leading the Avengers, New Avengers, Thunderbolts, Heroes for Hire, and Defenders . I mean hell he was going to lead the Mighty Avengers but he turned it down. Miles made a name for himself way before the movie, hell Miles has been a steady seller at Marvel the past 12 years. Seriously name one Black DC character that actually matters overall. Cause its not Cyborg, it's not John Stewart, it's not Vixen, it's not Steel, can't but Static cause DC doesn't own him or the other Milestone characters.
