@@MissDycky Both are great singers so no need to compare. Reality is, as much as I like Arnel, Stever Perry was the original guy who sang those songs and wrote it too. He put a stomp on the way it was sang. So he would always be preferred but that doesnt take anything from Arnel. I dont understand why people compare. Steve was the original singer.

Arnel's voice is simply amazing ! Journey or non-Journey songs -he always nailed t ! Bravo ! BTW: If Journey has not started their Tour Concert yet--- while on break period-- I hope Arnel takes longer break time to rest his vocals-- because of too much straining, his vocals might suffer and in the end, might jeopardize his singing on Journey LIVE Concert performance which he is the frontman! . It is noticeable in some of his performances lately that is worrisome. I am a fan, hope he takes more rest time in between Concer schedules so that he maintains his amazing vocals-- the only instrument that he should take care of... Taking some gigs is ok...but I hope AP doesn't overdo it by taking too much... It's like a human body--- when not well-rested, the body may give up. and gets sick easily.~~if abused. !AP should save his energy and play safe, especially it is COVID time still.. ( 2020-2021-2022 )which affects performance if he gets ill... Stay safe Arnel. please..

I just saw Journey in concert on 3/12/22 in Milwaukee and they were amazing. Arnel’s voice was beyond perfect and we couldn’t asked for a better concert. Loved it!!!

One of the most iconic voice in Philippine music. Great seeing him be a part of one of the most legendary bands, Journey. The song "Faithfully| .. my Mom loves singing that song whenever she does karaoke. Watched the interview with Mama Ogie, agreed with appreciating your parents, family, the struggles he had to endure all these years to get to where he is at now. Well deserved success. Not everyone can fully appreciate that and accept the reality that Steve Perry and Journey, has gone their separate ways, and Arnel has been chosen to fill that void, the voice alone does sound like Steve Perry, but Arnel has his own style, clearly the remaining members of Journey saw it too.
