Of course it is, TV is just junk now.... Feels like a cultural dark age. I'm constantly amazed at the stuff from the 70s, 80s and 90s that I discover. I wonder when the BBC, ITV etc stopped bothering to actually provide quality output. BBC doesn't deserve public funding anymore.

I can't believe that I watched this as a child and find that I'm now ten years older than Diana Coupland was when she starred in this. That's hard to get my head around. Sally Geeson is as beautiful as I remember her. I had a crush on her even when I was eight years old. She's now 71. Incredible.

It is believe me it has changed so much and not for the better either we got dumped with immigration by force not by choice and it annoys me when they say “london is multicultural “ and it is but we didn’t have a choice the government just let it happen then they moan about being discriminated etc like it was their choice to come here and take all our work and money away from us so what do they expect

Political correctness is ignorance masked in manners, the outrage mob seem to find it inconceivable that those they feel obliged to defend are capable of their own jokes too, as if gay and black people haven't their own jokes about straights and whites, I'm sure the writers of such material didn't think it was all one way traffic and gave more credit to those who were the butt of their jokes than those who take offense which is probably why they thought nothing of writing them, it wasn't out of ignorance it was out of an awareness that the offended shield themselves from and in turn leap to the defence of out of guilt of their own actual ignorance
