I definitely cried watching this too because I’ve read THIS chapter MANY times, but I never understood it in this way. It all hit so home for me because I truly am realizing that we must all go through the beatitudes honestly, otherwise how will God know we deserve the blessings that are rewarded from the beatitudes? This world can get so overwhelming & I truly admire Jesus’s attitude through it all, seriously

You do not have to do anything to be loved by God. He loved us, even when we rebelled against Him... His love is what makes turning from this rebellion even possible. And it's already a big celebration in heaven. Just because you finally wanna love Him back and spread this love!!! 🕊️❤️😇 It's no question about worth. It's a question about what you want. Do you want the same as the one who has the best in mind for you and everyone else. If we follow His plan, it might be others will follow the one true love as well!!! 🕊️❤️😇 And in the end, those who wanna proof themselves to God will always fall short. I memorized the Sermon on the Mount when I was 13 (I have a very patient mom). Rarely have I heard anyone deal with this incredible piece of literature in anything more than a sound bite section. I am so excited to discover with you guys even more than I’d already seen and share this delight in Jesus’s thinking with so many others. I’m loving the art styles so much too. God chooses to partner with us because of what Jesus has done. Restoring our relationship to the Father and giving us God the Holy Spirit to guide us in what Jesus taught. Jesus was not kidding when he said this to this crowd. I am sure many of them went off to become the church. The church was initially made up of the poor. They changed the known world. There internal change was played out causing a revolution. At present the third world is becoming evangelist to the first world. We are so fortunate to be part of God's Kingdom at times I do not think we understand that we need to be light and to speak light into all that we do.
