Project #4, the retro candle. I made those in elementary school with a napkin!! Just like the candles, you need just 1ply of the 2ply and do it the same as you did with the wrapping paper. OH my, this brought me back!!! Think I'll be doing this again this soon!! Thanks for the reminder!

@ Thanks! We both homeschooled and our years were busy with raising and schooling our little ones. All our children are grown and we are reliving our days when our children were little and the husbands kept watch so we could get together, every once in a while, and craft the night away. Now we live 800 miles apart and are looking forward to our week together. Your candles are on the list as well as some cookie baking and card making. Thank you for your videos. I enjoy watching them. 1. I made some clove and lavender bud candles from DT. Oh nu gosh they turned out so beautiful. Then used the round candles in a tall glass jar it ended up being a 2 for project. After I used the wax to make candles with EO cloves cinnamon and lavender buds (which i had all in my stash they turned out beautiful. 2. Then with empty jars frim used candle wax I mod podged on napkins around the glass took battery tea light candle from DT and made beautiful tea light candle holders. The 1 ply napkin on outside looked really pretty and was see through enough to light up beautifully with tea light. 3. Then took 3 purple, 1 pink, and 1 white found a 6” wood riser with wooden feet from DT painted the riser white with chalk paint then added gold rub n buff with a small holly stencil I got from temu and then clear coated with high gloss spray triple thick put the 5 candles with white in center. Took the evergreen tree ties hot glued around the very edge and oh my goodness a nativity candle tray with candles. Oh I did use transfers (gold) on the glass candles it looks so high end and I spent with 5 candles & riser 8.75 plus tax for each one I made for my niece’s. I sent a pic to my sister she could not believe I made them. I am telling you they turned out classy elegant and beautiful. Anyway those were my 3 candle projects. They all turned out amazing.

Love these! Why dont you like to burn candles at home? I love candlelight over regular. It gives a warm and peaceful glow. Love showers in candlelight...really peaceful.

Totally in the “no burning candles” camp! These are very cute / pretty! I have tried the tissue paper printer hack but my printer “rebels” & it jams - any tips for making it work? Mine is inkjet & the 1 or two times it did work it turned out so nice!

Parchment paper is made for heat. Wax paper, as in the name, has wax on it, which melts in the heat.

Wax paper is coated with wax making it melt also, which is why it sticks.
