It’s been a long time since I’ve heard this hymn. And almost every time that I listen to it, i get goosebumps at “Blest are they the pure of heart, they shall see God”. I don’t know why I still do after all this time. There are days when I don’t even deserve to be called thst but I still get goosebumps on it

this song is always sung at my church during communion. As an alter server, this song really caught my attention and it was so beautiful. At only 12 years young, church has really made such a huge impact on my life. I love going and serving and it is like a second home. Beautiful song ❣️

We sang this song in choir last year but never got to formally preform it because a girl in our choir's mom died and her last request was to have her daughters choir sing at her funeral, so we did and it was our first performance and our best to this day. I can still see my friend kissing her mothers casket as they walked it down while we sang.
