Fantastic video. Never seen fragrances tested, not only after being sprayed, but also being tested on how they smell after dry down and on the skin, instead of on cards and Jeremey Fragrance clearly giving Chanel the win. Used Sauvage for along time now and always feel a positive vibe around others when wearing it, but prehaps now Bleu de Chanel is going to really surprise me.

@@mantejwalia8660 if you get the parfum version of BDC then it will last for 6 to 8 hours however projection and sillage is low because of very low alcohol content.

I went to Macy’s and sprayed one arm with Sauvage Parfum and one with Blu De Chanel Parfum. Within 5 minutes I was surprised how much I liked the Blu De Chanel Parfum, I’m not crazy about the EDT or EDP. I went out and asked the ladies which they preferred. The truth is every women I asked liked the Blu De Chanel Parfum better than Sauvage Parfum. Across the board opening to dry down women, everyone picked Blu De Chanel. I asked a few men and guys seem to like Sauvage Parfum. Personally I love Sauvage EDT so I was pulling for Sauvage Parfum. At the same time I was shocked how great Blu De Chanel Parfum smelled on me, I really liked it. The real test was asking my lady. I could tell she was a little hesitant to pick something other than Sauvage since I wear Sauvage all the time and Sauvage reminds her of meeting me. However she also picked Blu De Chanel Parfum but also really like the Sauvage Parfum in non-head to head comparison settings. It’s worth noting I didn’t tell her what she was smell in advance but after the fact she said, get the Sauvage if that’s the one you like, especially since Sauvage reminds her of me and the Parfum is a version of that scent. For me both are bottle worthy but I now have a much greater appreciation and desire to buy Blu De Chanel Parfum. If I could grab one right now I would definitely get Blu De Chanel Parfum. I don’t think that would take away from the fact I love Sauvage ETD and it wouldn’t replace Sauvage EDT as my main warm weather fragrance.

SoCal Scents 5 months later I finally got BDC Parfum today. Just a tip when you get those email with the 15% emails from Macy’s coupon code FRIEND . Usually they do it quarterly and include fragrances. Online you can’t apply the code to Chanel but today I went to the store and found out they offering 15% off chanel in store just not online. Some in gents scents FB family page confirmed their Macy’s does the same and some said there’s isn’t offering any discounts whatsoever at the moment. Check your local Macy’s soon and you might get 15% of Chanel fragrances which is just about the best you can do for BDC Parfum right now.

mantej singh I was strictly doing testing comparing Bleu De Chanel Parfum and Sauvage Parfum. I did not get any unsolicited compliments for either during that testing. I did not own either at the time but I did have a vial of Sauvage Parfum that I only wore on special nights out with my girl. I did not receive any complements and to be honest my girl also prefer BDC Parfum over Sauvage Parfum. Not to say that she thinks Sauvage Parfum is bad. However BDC Parfum won by a long shot. That said I now own BDC Parfum. Performance is above average with strong projection I can smell for at least two hours. Others can smell it longer. It definitely get quieter after a few hours but my nose is used to it now. I’ll need more time to determine if it’s a complement beast or not. With Dior’s pricing being so good at discounters I will eventually get Sauvage Parfum to wear in fall and winter. I currently only own Sauvage EDT and prefer it on warmer day.

i own both but i prefer bleu de chanel parfum, HOWEVER, sauvage parfum is almost as good, both are 10/10, i just think bdc parfum smells more pleasing to my noose

Never ever ever worry about formulations. That’s a stupid stress/worry only FragCom worries about. I’d 100% go with the EDT. However watch my more recent video with Sauvage for ideas on best how to use it in 2023 :)

The second girl gave my boy BDC a 2? for real? i can understand that the fragrance may not be her cup of tea. but there is no way that a human nose can say that BDC smells bad. because thats what a 2 out of 10 means. that its bad. I have a feeling she likes sweet fragrances and she would give JPG Ultra male or 1 million lucky 9-10 out of 10.

Some people say the Sauvage Parfum lasts a long time, but the opening causes nose blindness to you can't smell it any longer. So could you test, like 6 sprays, and after 6-8 hours ask the girls who have not been around you (so we're sure their noses didn't go blind to it) to smell you and tell how close to you before they can smell that? This will answer a lot of controversy of some people saying Sauvage parfum doesn't last, and others say it lasts but people go nose blind to it.

Sympalogy Parfum lasts the least amount of time for sure. Can only smell traces of it at 4 hours and nothing after that. If you are going to get Sauvage, go with the edt if you like a brighter version of the edp if you like a smoother version (or live in cold weather area). EDT lasts the longest for both of us.

I once walked into a Macy's and a Dior Savauge vender girl stormed at me with a Savauge bottle and asked me if she could spray it on me so I can try it. I stepped back vigorously and said 'whoa, no thanks, I don't like Sauvage'. The rest of the vendors for other top fragrances that were also there that day who were also all girls saw this and busted out laughing and cheering and were saying to her 'haha, see, we're all tired of the Sauvage hype!' So, in other words, sorry bro but Savauge was overhyped by the fragrance community. Girls only like the marketing for it because they like Johnny Depp. I personally believe that the ambroxan note is a little too heavy in the fragrance which can be unpleasant to most. The opening is the best part with the bergamot but then after 3 seconds the ambroxan takes complete control of the fragrance making it come off as old manish...
