Dior as a fragrance house is very daring along with quality designer. The list of bangers over the decades is unmatched. I hope that Demachy's replacement can maintain the high standards. The last fragrance I bought from the house was Dior homme sport 2021 and it was still a great quality scent to throw on and I do have the 2020 Homme. Fahrenheit blew me away as 1988 as a 18 yr old kid and to this day I'm still impressed with the risks that this house takes Eau Savauge Parfum 2012 & 2017, Dior Savauge EDT, EDP & Elixir. Dior Homme, Cologne, Intense & Parfum, Fahrenheit le parfum.....etc etc. Can we have a moment of silence please for this great fragrance house

Seriously, dior is overrated. They made a lot of bad fragrances. Sauvage EDT & EDP were good and dior homme 2020/dior homme sport 2021 they were decent fragrances...i'd still consider them all very mid at best. And the rest of dior fragrances are just straight trash. I don't think i've really smelled any dior fragrances and thought this is like best designer fragrance ever not even close. Actually I think Chanel crushes dior in every possible way. Chanel allure homme flankers are better than all dior homme flankers Bleu de chanel is better than every sauvage you can buy And in terms of designer brands i've smelled better and cheaper fragrances than dior like look at mont blanc they absolutely crush dior. Maybe not in sales but their fragrances are superior. Legend, Explorer, Starwalker, Individuel, etc...They all way better than dior fragrances Look at versace, they make cheap fragrances and also crush dior... Eau fraiche, pour homme, dylan blue better than all dior fragrances. Look at prada even they crush dior too Luna rossa ocean, luna rossa black, prada l'homme....even luna rossa carbon is superior to sauvage D&G? K EDT, Light blue intense, The one, etc..better than dior Heck I think just about every designer brand beats dior....JPG?? Ultra male, le parfum, scandal...Paco rabanne? 1 million lucky, pure xs night, 1million original, invictus victory, invictus...Ferragamo? @@houssenalyyohan not overspraying, 3 sprays, once on each arm and once across my chest, maybe 4 sprays if I'm in a good mood, and I'm set for the day. Not trying to pull compliments, I wear it for myself and I found something that works for me, if people happen to like the way I smell, well that's just the cherry on top :)

Sauvage EDT shouldn't have a bad reputation for being so successful, people love it, it's a powerhouse that gets the job done and performance wise it is amazing bang for your buck! It performs much better than 95% of all others in my collection

I agree, I have sauvage EDP. I also have BDC parfum and dior 2020. Sauvage EDP kills both in projection and sillage.. The EDT is just too screechy for me now. I burned through a 100 ml of it, then bought a 60 ml of the EDP, never looked back..

@@brasstacksboxing409 I have only tried the EDP a handful of times, I did find it to be a much smoother blend, more rounded but still had that unmistakable Sauvage scent! I would definitely recommend trying Prada Luna Rossa carbon if you like that DNA.

@@dqyler oh yeah, the OG and "carbon" are both bangers. Always wanted "ocean". Never pulled the trigger. But yeah, next bottle of sauvage you cop, it should be the EDP. Smooth magic 🎩 with better longevity. You do give up a tad of projection on the forefront, but 5 sprays all day! EDP is Borderline beast mode longevity with a tad more 🌶 on the front end.

I love Dior Homme 2020, and it’s the best for me. Definitely not a blue scent though. Crisp, classy, clean and woody. The elegant bottle feels great to pick up and spray on after a shower. Drives my girlfriend crazy. Performance is a bit lackluster unfortunately, but still perfect for intimate situations. I also have Sauvage which I feel is better for going out to bars/clubs. Dior Homme is better for smaller gatherings, house parties and dates. I’ve had samples of Chanel Bleu and while it is a great scent, it’s a bit more mature and serious smelling than Sauvage which doesn’t suit my style or age as well as Sauvage.

Hello Monika, I know we are talking about EDT here, and although I think BdC EDP is an incredible scent, I would have to say the Dior Homme is probably my favorite fresh scent there is, and also I think the sexiest. It is perfect for the grab and go; for a casual day with white T-shirt and jeans, work, or even a semi formal date.

I think if you have and like BDC EDT there's no need for Dior Homme. To me Dior Homme is trying to play the same role as BDC EDT, but I think BDC does it better. I prefer Dior Homme Sport '21 over Dior Homme '20

while I must say dior homme doesn't have the best longevity or the loudest presence overall, it does linger and it projects enough to people close to you. I think it has gotten me more compliments than any fragrance i've ever owned otherwise. I've even had a couple women say that they'd wear it just so they could smell it all day. And I must agree. I love how it smells, it's warm, fuzzy, comforting, provides enough zing and freshness off the top to be refreshing and not a lackluster woody fragrance, it has a charming character. The cashmere woods thing with the iso e super plays super well off the peppery, citrusy opening. The vetiver does give it some of that TdH earthiness that makes me like it so much, but it is less pronounced, and not as dry, definitely more youthful and dumb reach friendly than TdH for me in particular. That said, Bleu De Chanel is a classic that I can never let go of entirely.

they share a few notes, the pepper, bergamot in the opening, the elemi in the heart, some vetiver, but homme is all about the woods and iso e super , sauvage simply an ambroxan bomb. I prefer the softer overall essence of homme. sauvage is a little aggressive for my tastes.

I own Bleu de Chanel EDP Dior Homme Intense Dior Sauvage EDT for everyday I use Sauvage EDT and for a date Homme Intense. At first I was wearing BDC EDP, I bought it for a formal occasion and liked at first so much that I wanted to use it for everyday. but after wearing it 5-6x I don't like it anymore. at first I did not smell the citrus at all and now it is mainly up my nose when I put it on and it smells like a cheap citrus. in my opinion if you want to wear BDC then the Parfum, I had a little test bottle and it smells much better than the EDP. but I did not try the EDT from BDC.

BDC is outdated. Chanel needs to come out with something new. Homme is nice and easy to wear. Sauvage, even though everyone has it, still gets me the most compliments. I wore the Elixer at a Holiday Party, and the feedback is unreal.

I smelled them, Chanel and Sauvage are young abd fresh scents. Dior Homme is a classy and mature scent; to me it smells like dry herbal tea with mint and chamomile. And Bleu de Chanel smells good, but it's pretty basic. The DNA of Bleu is sandalwood, which is used in most Chanel women's fragrances that probably why women innately like. Yet they don't know why..... The sandalwood used in most women's fragrances.

Dior Homme 2020 is the most ‘meh’ fragrance I’ve owned. To my nose it feels unfinished - a faint, short-lived citrusy opening leading immediately to a faint base of sheer woods and light vetiver. I gave my bottle away and from what I hear, that same bottle is now with its third owner.

I got the test strips at Sephora with Dior Homme, Bleu, Sauvage, and Y EDP. And over 12hrs later Chanel is gone, and all you are left with is a powdery, floral, woody, and soft sandalwood scent which is the main ingredient that people like without even knowing what it is. Sauvage, Homme, and Y are still detectable.

i’ve been hunting for a fragrance for a while and sampled about 50+ and i keep finding my way back to BDC. especially the Parfum. the scent is such a mood lifter and it just makes me smile. it’s slightly more of a mature scent but not too mature as i am only 22. but it’s super classy and i think men in my age range can pull it off. i love all BDC. but i’m trying to layer it and it i think the EDP or Parfum is best for layering with citrus scents.
