It’s honestly probably the front main seal and the reason it looks like a lot is because the fan comes on and blows it everywhere

Yes I believe so too! Oil pressure is good on the truck and runs great. Just made a huge mess with oil everywhere lol 😂

@@efrensvt lol I know from experience, my paccar did the same thing and made a huge fucking mess luckily the parts are cheap but the tool to do it is expensive take about a day and a half

Been drivin 43 years. Drove em all. Everyone has there opinion. Prefer N14s myself. Sold 2 ISXs 2 year's ago that had 1.3 million on em. They're still goin today. Haven't been rebuilt yet.

I think it’s my seal on the front of the motor that is leaking. Oil pressure is good so everything should be ok! I love n14s and cats 🐱

May be front cover gasket or gasket between block and timing spacer plate... not sure about X15s, I know ISXs had leaks in that area. Gotta pull front of eng off to fix. Not cheap. Hope it is somethin simple...

Maybe it's just a bad oil seal...I used to drive a t680 with an isx15 that started leaking pretty bad at the front...I wanna say it was the front oil seal if I remember correctly...one of our other trucks had a leak at the back of the engine a couple months before mine went bad...I think they just replaced the seals and it was all good

Yes I believe it’s the seal as well! Oil pressure is good and she’s running strong still. Just a minor hiccup with a huge mess hahaha Thank you for helping out and watching!!

That's why Cat is superior to cummins and always will be, I'd even take a 12.7 detroit over a cummins, the only cummins I would run would be a big cam 4 and that's it, the only other engine that cummins ever made that was good was the KTA that they use in older farm tractors all the others are junk. And anything that needs piss to operate properly probably ain't proper. I've driven cats and detroits mostly cat and never had a problem majorly except a coolant hose on my c16, besides that just minor maintenance basically, I've driven 3,000,000+ miles 99% with cat engines. If it ain't yellow it don't belong in a truck, just my opinion.

Any old motor is way better than these new ones I agree! I think my x15 the front seal of the motor is bad so not too shabby. Oil pressure is good. Currently at 700k miles and she’s still running strong this right now is just a little minor hiccup. Thank you for watching and commenting!!

@michaelsorrentino9279 they're cheap to rebuild that's why alot of guys still run them, but if you want the power of a cat you need to build it as a marine style engine or else they come apart quick same as the detroits, cats were built to last and that's why they cost so much

Fluff accessories, because I swapped a filter on my trailer OK? lol No shop could get me in what do you want me to do? It’s going in on Tuesday so not sure what your irrelevant comment means at all. Because with up keep on the main components on all my trucks they are A1. Don’t judge a book by its cover!

Money is spent on everything, FUEL, maintenance, GLAME, insurance, taxes, equipment, etc I can keep it going if you want. Think before you speak! Can’t help that shops are booked weeks out OR that I’m away from home and I can’t take apart my whole front end in a parking lot to fix my problem. DUDE!
