After playing this again after a long time, I will say the scout missions early on aren’t as bad even with no armour. The Longsword has a ‘Charge’ ability which is more like a leap. If you stay on the ground, it doesn’t launch you far but if you jump then let the charge go at the peak of your jump, you go FAR! Said strat also lets you jump up 3 high blocks which is amazing for escaping. You release it at the peak of your jump because... If you release as you’re still going up, you’ll be launched higher... And you’ll keep taking fall damage which adds up. Combined with the taint and mobs + no armour early on... That’s a recipie for disaster.

You can repair tools in your inventory crafting grid with its respective repair material.

the thomo meeter is a machine that is used for sulking magic and it will take all the magic into your wands

Maybe you can get rid of the taint by clearing an area of it and isolating it.

You cant. It'll just grow back no matter what unless it is no longer taint grounds. To get rid of taint grounds you have to place ethereal blooms and it will get rid of the taint slowly in an area that is preset and it takes a long time.
