Yes I certainly miss him (Paul) as well, every week during his tenure it was always a religious pilgrimage to discover what he has to share with us and go out and find the sort of vynil treasures he has introduced. One great example of that is the “Red Bird” E.P and in a matter of days I nearly fell over backwards when I found a copy of that and bought my own copy. And with that my heart was jumping for joy with that and I will never grow tired of it as this is a great record. Oh yes those tough times in Covid lockdown, watching Pauls videos doing his thing in his own lounge room along with his frequent visits to see the wonderful street art in Leake street tunnel will always be something I will remember and maybe.....well lets hope he makes a comeback.

Hi Dave, thanks for your wonderfully written reply. I hope Paul reads it. He had a big impact on quite a few of us for sure. The vinyl community has changed a lot - especially since the pandemic. However, you could always rely on Paul to play some incredible music and actually teach us a thing or two. So much of which I had not heard before. Incredible collection and knowledge of music. What really came through was his deep love of the music. I still have a long list of 45s I'm hunting down. Many of which I won't ever find but I'm certainly glad to have heard. I like that Red Bird EP as well. Well done tracking it down. What an oddity it is. One day, you would get a blast of rockabilly, then some Decca singles by Them and next, a whole side of exotica while he had a cup of tea. He got me through quite a tough few months in the lockdown. Always made me smile. Do you follow Alan, The Static Traveller? He is another lovely chap. All the best to you. Cheers for now, Steve.

Yes Madame Cyn will be missed. Let's hope he makes a comeback. I remember him playing that Kinsey jazz poetry record too and have been trying to find a reasonably priced copy. The Barbarians single - total classic. Take care, John.

Nice showings, Steve; I too have been inspired to pick up stuff in the wild that I would otherwise have left behind thanks to Paul; one of these days one of us should showcase those orange-sleeved Decca 45s - so many great singles, maybe too many to show! Cheers, Paul

Hi Paul, those orange Decca's are lovely. I just picked up Tell Her No by the Zombies. Has a great B side as well. I rarely see any earlier Zombies records so was chuffed to pick it up. Hope all is good with you.

Hey Steve!! Yeah, us rock’n’roll fans will be missing Paul’s channel!! Nice 45s!!! Love that Billy Fury with the typewriter! Of course I only have it on CD. So cool to see it on British vinyl!! The ‘I’m Not Shuckin’’ song was by Jimmy Patton. Patton cut a couple of awesome rockabilly tracks. The song Paul played is only available on an oddball country compilation lp from the late fifties/early sixties. Never was a single. Such a great tune!! Have a nice Sunday!! Jon

Hi Jon, Paul will certainly be missed. I guess Paul was unique - he would always something brilliant that I had never heard before. In the UK, it is relatively easy to pick up Billy Fury records. He was massively popular and a very kind, gentle person. He moved to a farm in Wales, not too far from me. You can stay there now. There is a lovely statue of Billy Fury in Liverpool. My dad visited it a few years ago because he loved Billy Fury. Thanks for identifying the record - I could not remember it! Hope you have a pleasant Sunday. Very Autumnal here. All the best, Steve.

Well it wasn't me this time p****d him off my conscience is clear. I've got more and more into 7"s I think through the VC KZbin people that have dug them and had enough of the same old same old. Went to fair last weekend and spent most of the time going through a huge amount of them. I don't have anything cool to play them on just a portable player but that has been extremely fun and taken me back into the music rather than all this audiophile nonsense.
