I hated everyone of these abominations. Great songs should be sung the way that made them great...changing it like these people did is the height of arrogance thinking they are better than the original singers.
@robertot69Ай бұрын
ok you don't like covers I get it, but singing a song trying to imitate exactly the original performance is not being an artist is being a copycat. By the way some of biggest hits in music history are covers, Aretha Franklin's "Respect" is a cover and when Otis Redding heard her version he didn't think it was an abomination, he said "that little girl stole my song" meaning Aretha's version was so outstanding that would have eclipsed the original one.

The cover of Big Love by Fleetwood Mac is literally an exact tribute to how Lindsay did it live. Also, for most artists, remixes are not attempts to make a song better than the original singer. You usually remix songs because you like the song and have an idea for a different take. And on the singer side, you often change up a song because you AREN'T as good as the original singer- and instead of distracting the audience by being compared to the original, you give your own flavor to the song. Especially in a show like this, its a way to connect with people by covering a song they know while still letting them know who you are as an artist.

@@JakeAdkinsOfficial while those ARE valid points it doesn't change the fact that FOR ME, it is nothing more than ruining the song. I do appreciate the fact that you took the trouble to try to explain that though so thank you.
