Ruben Graham-Morris was born blind due to a rare genetic disorder. His mother Trudie found out about Daniel Kish, President of World Access For The Blind, an expert in his technically advanced form of echolocation called 'FlashSonar'.
Daniel traveled from Los Angeles to Birmingham, England to teach Ruben how to echolocate by making clicking sounds with his tongue and by tapping his cane.
Since Daniel is often called 'the real life Batman', because bats also use echolocation to navigate, Ruben dressed up in a Batman costume for a feature article in the Daily Mail online.
