I purchase the original Burberry Goddess (not intense) for my best friend last year for her birthday as a blind buy. I had never smelled it before but it had good reviews on Sephora and I needed a gift for her so I got it. I was honest and told her it was a blind buy and told to please return it if she didn’t like it because I would rather that than it just sit on her vanity collecting dust. Well she did wind up returning it and said she wasn’t too fond of the way it smelled. Since then I still have not smelled it but I have seen a bunch of KZbin reviews about it. I am going to have to smell it and the intense version to see which one I like best. I had initially been put off by intense versions of perfumes because I purchased YSL Libre Intense and when I bought it I was sure that it being the intense version that meant it was going to be the same scent, just more intense. I was wrong. They smell nothing alike to me and it’s actually too strong in my opinion. That made me believe that all intense fragrances were too strong but I’ll check Burberry Goddess and Burberry Goddess Intense out to see if she was tripping by returning the original and if the intense version smells good or if it’s too strong.
