It's time to have a *Look Back* at the last two seasons of MLP. Let's see what Agrol has for us. And... play. 0:21 I think I have also seen the first 4 Look Backs, but I can't remember. 0:54 Shameless self-promotion. 1:18 We're going up this time? What a change. 1:33 I don't need a reminder of what happened in "Tanks For the Memories". Thanks, but no thanks. 1:40 They need to bring back The Smooze. 1:47 Oh yes, the episode that gave a huge shout-out to the fandom: "Slice of Life". Such a great episode. It really shows that the writers really do listen to what the fandom has to offer. I remember Gummy's monologue by heart. Deep stuff; such words to live by. 1:52 Spike is Worst Princess, but Blank Check is Best Princess. 1:59 "Amending Fences". What a way to call back the first season. They should bring Moon Dancer back. 2:03 "Do Princesses Dream of Magic Sheep?". I'm remembering buff Spike riding giant Derpy, the return of the Power Ponies (which needs to happen again), Scootaloo being able to fly (which also needs to happen), Filthy Rich having money powers, demon Angel (or just bigger Angel), the return of the Golden Oak Library, Lyra and Bon Bon Cat Dog, and Princess Big Mac. All wonderful moments. 2:09 Yes, Rarity. That's how noir movies work. As soon as you put on the detective hat, everything around you goes grayscale. 2:18 Oh my! I do declare! Is that Orchard Blossom I spot over yonder? She's looking gosh-darn pretty today. 2:21 There it is. The episode that celebrates 5 years of MLP: FIM. "Crusaders of the Lost Mark" was a fantastic episode. I'm sure you will agree (I remember your reaction to it. You were bawling your eyes out!). First time seeing Spoiled Rich (or Spoiled Milk), redemption of Diamond Tiara, and the CMCs getting their cutie marks, all in one episode! Oh yeah, and confirmation of the Apples' parents being dead. Can't forget that one. 2:32 "Scare Master", the episode with the return of Flutterbat (sort of). 2:45 "The Mane Attraction". I want Rara to come back so bad! 2:52 And lastly, "The Cutie Re-Mark". Unfortunately, it seems most people didn't enjoy this one because of Starlight's redemption. I personally did like the season finale. It had all the major villains of the show in it, depicting what would happen if the Mane 6 didn't stop them. You had badass Rainbow Dash, Pinkie, and Maud as soldiers in Celestia's army against King Sombra. The future where Chrysalis has taken over most of Equestria, and Zecora's rebellion tribe battling against her. The future with Nightmare Moon returning and banishing Celestia to the moon, and Rarity is her interior decorator and Rainbow is a Bat pony guard. Discord as king, and Tirek still destroying trees. And oddly enough, the Flim Flam brothers taking over somehow. And of course, you have Starlight changing the past so the Mane 6 never get their cutie marks, thus making them never becoming friends. It wasn't that bad. 2:55 Nice summary, Blank. 3:05 Season 5 was really eventful, wasn't it? The 100th episode and the 5 year anniversary of the show in one season. That's pretty good. Onto the season of facial expressions and shipping! 3:31 Shameless self-promotion again. 3:42 I was not aware of an MLP/ Equestria Girls crossover. That really should happen, though. 3:49 I guess that makes sense. 3:54 "The Crystalling". The second season premiere to not have a villain (the first being "Princess Twilight Sparkle"). It was decent; not too much happened. 4:06 "Gauntlet of Fire". The introduction of Princess Ember and the end of the Rarity/Spike ship. 4:10 "No Second Prances". The episode that made Starlight and Trixie best friends. I ship it. 4:14 "Newbie Dash". The episode where after nearly 6 years finally made Rainbow a Wonderbolt. And the one where she imitated all of her friends (which I really enjoyed). 4:18 "A Hearth's Warming Tail". Probably my favorite episode of season 6. I love the re-telling of Charles Dickens' "Christmas Carol" in this. I, most of all, love the songs. Now's the perfect time to re-watch it. 4:22 "The Saddle Row Review" Probably the funniest episode of the season. Rarity opens a new store in Manehattan with surprise cameos by Vinyl and an escaped Pinkie Pie clone. 4:30 "Flutter Brutter". The introduction to Fluttershy's family. Only took 6 years to do it. 4:35 "Spice Up Your Life". Introduced Coriander Cumin and his daughter Saffron Masala and had a Bollywood-like song in it. 4:38 I remember watching "Stranger Than Fan Fiction" on Netflix a few hours before its official airing on T.V. I was so hyped for the episode, and it did not let me down. Dang body pillows! 4:47 "28 Pranks Later". Another episode where most people didn't like, mainly because it was almost like "The Mysterious Mare Do Well", which most people also didn't really like. Of course, I found it to be okay. 4:50 "The Times They Are A Changeling". The introduction to Thorax. Had a great Spike song. 4:54 "Dungeons & Discords". Seeing them cosplay as character classes was really fun. 5:03 "The Fault In Our Cutie Marks". The introduction to the newest member of the Cutie Mark Crusaders, Gabby. Speaking of, we need to get Babs Seed back in an episode. 5:06 "Viva Las Pegasus". First time going to Las Pegasus. Running into Flim and Flam again. Introduction to Gladmane. 5:10 "Every Little Thing She Does". Once again showing how overpowered unicorns are. Also showing how many movie references can be made in one episode. There was "Predator", "Jaws", "Spider Man", "Braveheart", and many more. 5:18 "Where The Apple Lies". Who would've known Big Mac used to talk so much? Or Applejack lied so much? 5:23 "Top Bolt". I ship Sky Stinger and Vapor Trail. 5:26 "To Where And Back Again". I liked the season finale. You had the secondary characters come together to stop Chrysalis and save the Mane 6 and others. They were somehow able to stop Chrysalis without using magic. And then you had the love ex machina ending and Thorax turned into some sort of magical deer creature and became the new leader of the Changelings. Would that make him king? I hope they address that next season. Also, totally ship Discord and Trixie. And thus, Dixie was born. 5:43 Twilight is now Rainbow's housemate. 7:19 Yes, and her rocket breaks down and she is stuck there. Like how Luna was. 7:35 Those are some words to live by. | This was fun. It helped jog my memory of these episodes. Even though I've only watched the show for a year now, it feels like I've been watching it since the very beginning back in 2010. I can't wait to add season 7 to my memories of this show! I don't think that's a bad thing, he carried the episode in an awesome love-to-hate way. They had a character in mind, and they executed on him better than most - I've lived with someone like that, and it really hit home watching it.

Blank Slate Dunno, for me it just made the episode torturous to watch. I don't think I've ever hated watching any 20 minutes of video more than that episode. I would've liked it if he was not such a sociopathic idiotic asshole, but was just quiet, depressed and self-deprecating. That could've evoked sympathy. Instead, he was so bad that the only outcome I can imagine that would've made it worth suffering through his shit would be if the family disowned him and left him to die in a gutter. And unfortunately MLP can't do that.

I, like a couple of other people, like to see your intro. If you didnt have an intro then your channel would be significantly less appealing. That's my philosophy, too. Aside from adding context in terms of expectations and prior knowledge, reaction channels are personality-driven, so I would like to actually hear the person's thoughts. But every now and then I see people putting the time stamp in their comments to alert other people so I figure a few key strokes on my end won't hurt. I don't want to assume everyone has the same opinions as I do (much like I don't want to assume every creator thinks of reactions the same way, not everyone is as supportive as the channels I cover) (I've generally put an annotation in the intros that skips directly to the reaction start, but with KZbin's new end slate feature I'm not able to do that anymore)
