Not just the episode, the episode is indeed really bucking awesome, and i loved it to death, this week episode was boring as hell compared to this. But peoples faces when they watch this episode. Seeing peoples eyes light up, the smiles on peoples faces. Just for that it's already amazing.

I just realized after watching a first-timer's reaction to this episode for at least the 9th time (I've watched many others xD).... The REAL reason they made Bon Bon secret agent Sweetie Drops is to explain all the mysteriously and hillarious times they've switched her voice actor!! She's spoken before in the show as a background pony, but it was always a different voice... so if she's a secret agent, she's been doing that to hide her identity!!!! IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOW!!!!! mind = officially blown O_O :D And yes, I only figured this out after watching this episode with all the other wonderful bronies in the fandom for the 10th time ish! xD Brohoof peeps! If Vinyl isn't voiced by Nowaking there's gonna be a riot. ;) As for the repetition of background ponies, it isn't so much about not enough characters, but more of the fact that Flash crashes if there are too many individual objects (different colors, cutie marks, slight change in shape). But it does seem they are at least trying to fit in some more variety (no matter how many times the program crashes).

+Edward256 Heh, I kinda doubt crashes are gonna be a limiting factor for a large company like Hasbro. They've probably got support contracts with Adobe to have them fix any recurring issues like that which impede their progress.

Oh, I don't know... I know some flash experts who've said what I've said, and I've listened to those Animator Panels / Interviews. Sure, they may have support contacts, but they may not want to hold off production while Adobe tries to fix the problems on one end, or try to find workarounds on the other. Simple solution: instances.

The joke about Bonbon's name is by far the funniest thing I've ever seen in every show I've ever seen. My cheeks still hurt a lot. I also liked Doctor Hooves in this episode even though I know nothing abut Doctor Who, so I did't get the references.

Narrator007 1. We recorded the intro before watching the episode, just like with our usual, shorter intros. Editing was done after the fact. We don't typically do a lot of in-advance planning for our intros. We kinda just make them up on the spot. 2. Haha yup. I knew the 100th episode was going to be about background ponies, which reminded me of that animation, so I figured I'd use it as part of our intro. We actually recorded a commentary of that video immediately before watching Slice of Life; that commentary will be out later. 3. Haha, I know right? Called it! 4. Yup, pretty much. XD 5. Ah, didn't catch that part. 6. Yeah, I missed that during the episode, but noticed it later after I went online to see what the rest of the fandom thought. Love the subtle lampshading there. 7. Haha, yeah that does look pretty hilarious on-camera. XD Figures that Pinkie Pie would own a pet like that. And yeah, I personally think our reaction turned out really good for this episode. Probably should have turned the mic down beforehand; I didn't realise we were going to be laughing so loud the whole time. XD One of the great things about doing reactions in groups is that it makes it easier to talk about the episode when there's another person participating in the conversation. Plus, I think we kind of amplify each other's reactions just as a natural result of human social tendencies. I'd probably be the most boring commentator ever if I was doing this on my own.

I fucking love this amazing episode/Epic fan service. I was very happy that Cranky and Matilda because I loved the backstory in the episode A Friend in Need. I love that Derpy's first attempt to apologize is to offer muffins. I love that Derpy hired Featherweight to make the invitations. Derpy is fucking adorable the Doctor's personality is great and I love their interaction. I love that Vinyl in this also wears headphones all the time. I do think she can read lips and knew where to find someone who could help the Doctor. I love the Big Lebowski ponies and that they addressed how weird the word man is in MLP. I bet someone is going to check if the equation works out. I love that even with the elaborate math the Doctor never thought to throw straight. I love Kazumi Evans performance as Octavia and the meta mention of friendship problems aka episodes take about 30 minutes. I like the design of the bug bear and love the parts of the battle we see. I find it hilarious that Amethyst's job was stolen by Twilight Sparkle. I love the flower trio in this episode. I love Lyra and Bon-Bon's voices and personalities. Also being sarcastic here just friends my white half-Irish ass. I love that they found a way to give Bon-Bon her original and fan name. I also love her backstory and it unintentionally makes sense because in the episode It's about Time Bon-Bon is in the background looking out a window at Cerberus. I also love how nonchalant ponyville has become about monsters. Steven Magnate was great and kind of insensitive. Although he is right about most people at weddings. I love that Cranky and Steven are friends and apparently go on crazy adventures and that Steven is his best ma- pon- beast. I love that Vinyl and Octavia are roommates and that half the house is designed by Vinyl and half is designed by Octavia. I think the head canon that Vinyl is mute might be canon but I'm holding out hope that legal circumstances change to allow Nowacking to voice her. I love the interaction between them even though Vinyl never speaks. The classical dubstep they play in this scene and the next is amazing. I love that the show made the bass cannon canon and mobile. I think literally seconds after they leave the house blink and you'll miss it they jump a shark. I love that during one character snapshot Berry Punch has a barrel that I assume is filled with booze. Also during the quick scrolling which I did not see when watching if you pause at the right frame there is a live action picture of 4 people in horse and unicorn masks. I love that Gummy is a philosophical genius and it explains why he barely does anything. Also if you look at his eyes the crash is going in slow-mo. I love the interactions between Luna and Celestia in the wedding scene because it’s so normal. I think Shining Armor cries at weddings because of what almost happened at his. I love that Steven did for Cranky what Rarity did for him. I love the relationships of Lyra and Bon-Bon and Derpy and the Doctor. I laughed my ass off when Derpy locked out the mane 6. I love the mayor’s speech/episode lesson and how meta it is. I think the Changeling is the one from A Canterlot Wedding that fell in Equestria unlike the rest that Matilda found injured, nursed it back to health and befriended it. This is because it was confirmed it is Matilda’s friend. Also Doctor Whooves says love activating the fireworks was obvious, sitting in front of the princess of love who is rolling her eyes. I love that the mane 6 only had 3 lines the entire episode. I have to say this could be the best episode in the entire show. ∞/∞Perfect Episode.

psychokinrazalon Yeah, we had the video glitch out on our computer a few minutes into the reaction, which made getting the video overlay perfectly in sync with the rest of the reaction after the fact really hard. Wouldn't be noticeable if we were using the sound from the video overlay instead of just the sound from the mic, but since we're not wearing earbuds, sound from our computer gets picked up by our mic, so if I included the sound from the video overlay there'd be an echo, which IMO would be worse. Kind of annoying, but whatever. It is what it is.
