Given the format of this episode, the eliminations didn't really serve any purpose. They just made it awkward, which he also pointed out. This guy is honestly super smart! He picked up on a lot really quickly where I would have been lost. Also some of the women seemed to be very good at teaching and instructing. And the Italian had a lot of phrases that were similar enough to english (being they are both latin languages) that I think it really helped him figure out what she was saying.

I really liked the way how the Chinese girl, Amy, communicated in Chinese. You could tell that she was used to talking to little kids or people who don't know Chinese that well in Chinese because she spoke in a very simple way using lots of hand gestures.
