Vinny has always been great for nails but I worked hard getting mugsy comfortable for it.

One of my favorite clients dogs I did was a pug named Muki. She used to be an absolute NUTCASE. She ran around the whole time trying to jump into my arms and give me kisses. I decided to make it a game. I'd get one thing done and let her kiss me and then rub her all over and be really excited, then I'd take one step away and say "ok, back to work" and she would calm down and then I'd do another thing and baby talk her though it. And then we would play and kiss and then get back to work again.

Why do you think that the dogs enjoy cologne?!? Furthermore, before you spray them with cologne, ASK THE OWNER whether they want you to do so. Me, I would hate it if my dog came back from the groomer stinking of cheap cologne. Ugh. You know, there is nothing wrong with a dog smelling like a dog. In fact, it is highly likely that other dogs prefer that their doggie friends SMELL LIKE A DOG. Like, don't you realize that dogs evolved to smell other dogs' doggie odor?
