In Asia touching another persons body, especially opposite gender is generally frowned upon. In the West/Europe however, this would be a safety measure. Last thing you want to do is help someone and then catch a false sexual assault accusation. Google how many men have been falsely accused of sexual assault (touching) in the West and Europe when they helped someone or even just walked by them and brushed them in passing.
@yiming992 жыл бұрын
yes, he is kind, but that's the wrong way to lead a blind person. the correct way should be to allow the person you are guiding to hold your arm and follow as you walk. a blind person needs the guide cane to feel his/her surrounding, so do not hold his/her guide cane when you are helping a blind person.

people respect those brave ones who confront others doing bad things, but I think it's also worthy of respect when one is weaker and scared, but still decided to do their best to help
@lasithajayawardana95592 жыл бұрын
Perverts in general are not violent and will back down when confronted, BUT it's best to take their photo and report them to police. You don't want to take the risk that it's a violent predator or one who is on the edge and gets triggered to become violent. If they have a knife or a syringe of contaminated blood, you're in a whole lot of trouble. Women should be able to wear what they want and go around at whatever time of day or night they want, but we have to live in reality and mitigate risk.

This made me realized how individualized western countries are compared to Asian countries. I've witnessed it. Me and my friend took the subway one day when we heard a commotion. It was a man dragging and assa*lting a woman. By the way there were a lot of people that day and no one went on their way to help. The lady was literally screaming, crying and begging for help. The man kept on saying that she was his girlfriend and they were just having a fight. He even tried to use the race card against us. Apparently that convinced the people around them to turn a blind eye. But we didn't bought that B.S. cause the woman looks like she was still in her teen age years and besides that she kept saying that she didn't know him. My friend decided to help and dragged the man away from her. I helped the woman up and called 911. But then I was shocked that some people on the train talked sh*t about us. They told us to mind our own business and go back to Asia. An old man even told us that "here in US we are taught not to interrupt other people's business isn't that taught to you? Have some manners!". After the police arrived we discovered that the young woman was just 15 years old and was on the way home when this man under heavy influence of Dr*gs groped her. She started screaming and asked for help. That enraged the man and began to assault him and dragged her all over the floor. I was still traumatized with that experience but I couldn't imagine how horrifying it is for the young lady.
@eugeneglenmoor72922 жыл бұрын
I'm so sorry you had to go through that, it's great that you and your friend were there to save her from even more trauma. I can't understand who would think that way, what idiotic cruel logic. Do they realize they're saying we're okay with sexual assault and violence happening when it's not us?

@kaepjjjang2 жыл бұрын
@@shatiao at first we thought that they were berating the assa*lter but when we heard "go back to Asia" and other asian racism stuff that's when we realized it was us. We cannot believe that out of all that's happening it was us who get that treatment. I am really thankful that my friend who is serving in the military was with me when all of that happened cause I don't think I can handle all of that alone.
