Blind Guardian - 'Nightfall' playthrough with Marcus Siepen

BLIND GUARDIAN-Gitarrist Marcus Siepen präsentierte auf der diesjährigen Musikmesse in Frankfurt am Stand von LAX Europe sein Lax-FX-Board. Zur praktischen Demonstration nahm Marcus auch gleich eine Gitarre in die Hand und spielte vor laufender Kamera den Song 'Nightfall' vom 1998er Album "Nightfall In Middle-Earth" mit.

I think it doesn’t get talked about enough just how good of a rhythm player this guy is. And he just happens to play alongside Andre, also one of the best lead guitarists in the business imo. They just make such a great team.

it’s not all about hitting the right notes. no one can play his part better. even famous guitar players (vai, satriani, malmsteen etc…) can’t best him. years of years playing this song live, his every cell in his body know how to play it perfectly. giving all emotions and stuff… simply, unique.
