The present leadership makes one distinguish between God and the world. Things are not well except in our Lord. We must focus upon Him in the time of death and chaos. I have felt and see exactly what you are saying, Peter. People think this or that political leader will solve their problems, but without obedience to God, we will fail. I am concerned that Christians aren't recognizing what is happening as God purifies our world.

We are seeing too many people trusting in their own judgement and/or interpretation of what is good and evil. " I know what the Bible says but I'm a spiritual person and this is how I feel about xy and z." And of course Satan loves this way of becoming our own blind guides. In an age filled with Pride and Self-Affirmation there's no room for the practise of Repentance and even less understanding of the need for it. And yet, " Repent for the Kingdom of God is at hand" were among the very first words of Jesus Christ in the Gospel. Many people mistakenly identify as friends with Jesus and his way of thinking...they have no clue how far they are from Him and the Gospel message.
