Basically the Mihawk encounter is a sneak peek into the powerlevel of late-game one piece. Mihawk is insanely strong, even right now in the manga (after 1000+ chapters) its unclear if Zoro would be ready. Also Garb and Mihawk being in the east blue is basically the equivalent of two level 100 characters roaming the starting area of a game 😂

Yes he is calling him a good kid for feeding the starving pirate, Zeff loves Sanji he is his kid (he calls him little eggplant to this day). The reason he is mean towards his cooking is cause he wants it to be easy for Sanji to leave and chase his (their shared) dream of the all blue and be happy but knows Sanji feels indebted to him and that´s why Sanji says him staying at the Baratie 'is complicated'.

15:15 Yep, the whole reason why Zeff opened the Baratie is because he knows what it feels to have money but still can't buy any food, so he will welcome any person that is hungry, even if they don't have the money. Sanji may be more gentle but both of them share the same empathy for starving people.

Yeah we eventually meet every Warlord, they're pretty cool. Think of them as privateers who all have different reasons for doing it. We actually met a future one already but i won't say who. Zoro's line and allowing Mihawk to slash him was because he believes a true swordsman never runs from a fight

to answer your question about Zeff calling Sanji a good kid for feeding the guy, yes that's why. Sanji says a couple other things this episode that hint at it too. "Everyone eats at Baratie" (or something like that) and "we don't waste food here." It's spelled out more clearly in the manga/anime but that's kind of the whole point of the restaurant being at sea--to help starving people like them. That starving pirate dude also plays a much bigger role in the original that built on the theme of the consequences of feeding ALL starving people, even the bad ones. Anyway I love your reactions! You always seem to catch stuff other reactors have missed and you seem so genuinely enthused.
