Some random fact about PGR lore: there is a robot called Nanami. She is considered a Sagemachine because she is first one who gained consciousness. Other half-consious robots even created a Church in her name! And what she does after gaining that wonderful gift? She plays old videogames, acts very cute and tries to save other robots! xD Just make sure to not mix up robots with constructs (which are basically robot body + real human consciousness).

as for the boss reworks/un upgrades they actually get an actual rework on their movesets/character models\playstyle, it's not a time limited event rerun. Which is why pgr is goated because they do not forget the older bosses and uns and instead improve them so they're still relevant in the current game.
