They definitely have a following, in the metal community they were one of the bands that got us through Lockdown with Hypa Hypa and We Got the Moves, they have absolutely leaned in to this aspect of their music. They have serious songs, which are just as good as the party stuff. It's a rabbit hole and a half, well worth diving into, metal has grown in a lot of very strange directions and these bizarre Germans are absolutely at the forefront of the "having fun but taking the music seriously" side of it.

Went to the latest concert of Electric Callboy, back in May this year, so 2023. Already bought my tickets for February 2024 and Merch for about 200 bucks on their homepage. Their Tour this year is sold out for most venues, even in the US, UK and Australia. These guys are hilarious! Many requestions and suggestions here in the comments. Fun fact: It was NOT Kevin in the bed. (Except story-wise.) The one in the bed in the beginning is Mirjam Piuk aka Tingilya Cosplay, who did some makeup on the video and was the announcer in Tekkno Train. I saw them live at FOX_FEST and they have a whole intro video with her testing the vibes and counting down for the show. She also now worked as prop maker for Ratatata. (However, their usual main makeup artist for most of their videos, including this one, is Kami Zero. You can actually see him in Tekkno Train as well, getting shaken by Kevin at around 2:05.)

Every video and song they have put out since 2020 has been genius. It's massive rabbit hole to go down because they have so many videos. But it will fill you with delight. Most of them are funny but they have a few serious ones in there as well. And the good news is they're pretty huge right now and are doing a sold out world tour. In Europe they're filling arenas and they've posted some incredible live clips.

i finally got to see them live at Download Festival two months ago and the only bad part about it was that this song hadn’t come out yet. i’ve been to hundreds of concerts across a bunch of genres and they are absolutely my #1 as of now. fun side note: the guys said on their vlog once that they were aiming to be the backstreet boys of metal. they actually do a killer version of “i want it that way” during their live set, not kidding at all 😂

You guys are very cool! I am from Germany and back in the day I was at one of their first shows here in Munich. They sold their merch themselves after the gig and my girlfriend and I hung out with the band until 5 A.M, just enjoying whatever the DJ was playing. They are so cool, humble and - to be honest - a bit weird. But you have to add a little bit of "weird" when you are in this industry. I am so happy for them. They get so much attention now. I am a drummer myself. We have a band and we cover popular songs and EVERYTIME WE TOUCH is probably the best thing they have published since WE GOT THE MOVES.

When you go further down the rabbit hole (and it is deep and dark ;) ) you can go to MC Thunder and MC Thunder II and eventually end up at Hurrikan (but that's probably not for beginners :D).
