This was definitely some of his best work. He’s using that lip syncing animatic technique, which has got to be a lot of extra effort. But it pays off. I love the whole “tragic backstory” thing he was doing for Cozy, her dialog goes really dark a few times but it works in context with the joke.

He actually EMBRACED the whole _"but there is NO backstory for Cozy Glow!"_ as both a challenge and a source of inspiration to "explain" the little children genious villain. I liked that bit of "foreshadowing" he addded earlier when Cozy was pretending to "guess" what types of horror/sexual based fetishes Neighsay was planning to "execute" upon her. She took the oportunity that just presented itself with his "assault" to Twilight´s Inner Sanctum (her office) as a FACT that he had planned to trap her there (since she was supposed to be the "new current headmare replacement" after Starlight was "out"). Cozy was kinda dissapointed that he did nothing of the sort, as having physical proof would be "better" (specially if she ended up ENJOYING it wildly), as it would be interpreted by others as the start of her "corruption" [finally obtaining her "Villain Verified" certificate backstory]. -> She still falsely accused him anyways, given how plausible it would sound to be true given his previous "obviously-in-denial" overt behavior about his actual sexual fetishes.

I thought it was great that Cosy Glow didn't have a definitive reason or a backstory. She enjoys being a villain and was evil for the sake of being evil. I actually enjoyed Cozy`s villainy she initially wanted power but when she failed she just settled with messing around with the protagonists simply because it entertained her.

One bit I didn't get the first time- when cozy is talking to neighsay, she goes on and on about him molesting her, but she seems like she wants him to. She wanted him to give her a tragic backstory! Also holy hell this series makes me write fucked up comments

Season 9 is pissing me off for one big reason. The utter lack of Glimmy. Which means even less of Trixie as well. Out of 14 episodes so far, Starlight only speaks in 4, and barely appears in 3 of those. Doesn't it seem odd that she was a big part of 4 seasons, only for her to take a big downturn now? It's very suspicious. I'm hoping they are planning something big for her later, and are keeping her on the low key right now to throw people off. Remember how Twilights big ascension was spoiled ahead of time in season 3? Maybe they are trying to prevent that now.

It is the last season so they're trying to wrap up stuff for the series. This means some characters take a backseat to allow others to close their stories. Besides we know she's going to be head mare of the school; Twilight already made plans for that.
