"Sarah’s dreams of becoming a world-renowned reporter had ended after her story was turned down on accounts of being “frankly ludicrous”. Laughed out of the room, she returned to her accountant’s desk, head in her arms, tears in her eyes. Twenty-two hours later, she was contacted by a small-time news agency, focusing on outlandish stories from around the world. Disregarding it as a ‘coocoo paper’, she wanted nothing to do with the offer… till the owner came to her door. The decision was made that night. Though the rooms were small, the floor littered with paper, the desks scratched with decades of use, this was the first time she had felt at home, and enjoyed a freedom she never could think of. Her story was soon published. While her writing was a success at first (mostly with the readers mind you because any of the professional papers still laughed when “Cubit Reports” was mentioned), her name had soon fell into the past. Months rolled by… till the end of 1997, when she received a letter, detailing a story about a girl who, thought to be clinically blind, had suddenly regained her vision. Apparently, she had locked herself away in her room, refusing to talk to anyone. Her parents were at a loss, but they were adamant about one thing: when looking, their daughter could read people’s thoughts. Sarah packed her bags, hopped on a plane, and returned to the East to see for herself. At first, she was nothing more than just an extra in a line of reporters. There were bigshots from all over the world, yet none were allowed inside the house. None, until the parents revealed that their daughter had finally allowed someone… her. This began a series of interviews tightly closeted behind blocked windows and locked doors. For the girl was deathly terrified of the voices, not when she looked at other people… but the sun. 'The sun whispers', she said. And it whispered to her terrible things…"

I swear I heard a bit similar sounding to In the Maw of the Ouroboros in the background. Maybe it's just the little figure in the middle reminding me of that song and Children of the Moon, but it was cool. Wicked sick song! Definitely one of my favorite by you, and, as always, an intruiging story locked behind the riffs and synths!

man, ill be honest your musics are just insanely good. Im writing a RPG story to play with my friends, and i without doubt will put some of your musics in the bossfights, because ITS INSANE (btw i created a final boss inspired on "In the maw of ouroboros") i wanted to use this music too but it has voices 😭man, dont stop making these insane metal musics

Once again, it is time to lock myself in my room again and write, for I have yet another wonderful song, and yet another wonderful story. Your fast paced songs are good, yes, but there's something about your slower, longer songs like this one that just feel *so* much more powerful. I will ask if I could get a version without the reporter's voice at some point, because while it's perfect for what I'm doing to my players, it's uh, spoilers lolz, if nothin else I'll crop it out myself
