There's a bunch of videos on KZbin of them singing. Not too long after the pandemic started they put out a video on KZbin of them singing The Prayer and it went viral. From then on they've become very popular. This year they started doing concerts. They have some albums out as well.

My parents were best friends with Arlene and Veldon when they were young married students at the U of I many years ago. Our families stayed close till the oldest kids became teenagers and life and miles pulled us in different directions. The Hix family has always had a special place in our hearts. This was great. I remember Mat and Savanna's first video they posted and was hooked. One of those weird circumstances, if not for Covid they would have never started singing together. Was so nice of them to do this for Arlene. My wife had a family member as well that lost her sight and they never found out why. Same exact thing as Arlene. Went to bed and woke up and couldn't see.

Bless you for caring about others. I went blind and my own family disowned me because they didn’t want to deal with anything negative. I had 6 surgeries including cornea transplant so I got my vision back but I learned a great deal. You are truly doing the Lord’s work. ❤️

This was one of the most precious things ever. I’ve followed Mat & Savanna since they started. I wish I could afford to be in their special community, but I’m happy that they share their music here. When well-known people can act better than the average person and take time to give this woman who has suffered more than most can imagine, I'm ashamed. Think of her family and the joy they had participating, as they would be affected. Any talent or no talent (everyone has talents, but we don't recognize them) should use them. This brought tears to my eyes. I used to be able to sing and it was always wonderful to sing in nursing homes and churches. This year I had to have my neck fused and my vocal chords got nicked and it let my vocal chords paralyzed. I have a little bit of my voice back but I can no longer sing. It has left me devastated as I can’t do what I love. The thing I miss the most is singing to my grandkids
