I'm curious how you so consistently react when something goes wrong? Is it just familiarity with sound cues? Specifically for the sblj you seemed to instantly realize when it was messed up and also how it went wrong. I'm considering trying to do blindfolded completions but the problem assessment seems to be the most daunting task.

Yep, it mostly comes with experience and distinguishing different kinds of audio cues when it goes wrong. Especially when you do it more and more often blindfolded, you will start to notice subtle sound cues that you weren't even aware of before, and with those you can pretty precisely tell what is going on and where you are :D
