I absolutely love this song. It means a lot to me. I had left my country El Salvador and moved to Australia. I was lonely, I could not speak english, I missed my friends my culture my church. One day after work I went to browse at a Christian shop and I found the lp record for this song. I cried and cried and I still do. I believe it was God who wrote it because it feels very special. Like he is actually talking to me. Thank you for this clip.

Since I was a child, David's music shaped how I saw Jesus. One day he will know how blessed I was to have had that music growing up in the 80s. To this day 40 years later I listen to it. Seventy time's seven is my most favourite..Going home was played for my brothers funeral. God gave me David's music, the lyrics are written by God himself through David.

I have always been in awe of David's music and I have been changed by what the Lord has done in his music. Beautiful and life-changing. Artists like him in my childhood formed my unwavering desire for praising God through music and art. I am now an artist and musician (and technical nerd) and I give all Glory to Jesus! Thankful to His people who have instilled within me a non-stop desire to seek Him. Question: Does anyone here mention anything about his 'stage behavior'? He obviously had some coffee....lol He always reminds me of a country sounding singer who isn't country at all and is a somewhat Chihuahua-ish! That didn't make sense. I mean, he sounds like he's a country artist with his accent and intonations, yet sings nothing like it, and is also very eclectic.
