I wish ATS had a yard dog mode besides freight and cargo mode. Using the passenger side mirror remote and moving it out all the way helps when blind siding. First time at that dock in ATS I backed out to the street went around the block and backed in. Next time I will try your Methood for something different.

SCS should hire you to make maps of all your levels in American/European Truck Simulator. The help to aspiring drivers would be immeasurable.

i dont think i need to hire me, i could just do it myself, I do know how to create a map, i have the software for it, i watched a few videos and started, but its a lot of work. I may or may not finish it.

@@MyTruckingSkills - Really? You know how to do it??? I’ll bet it is a ton of work. I can’t imagine how/if you could monetize it, but even a few of your amazing levels…even the Practice Levels from the drone perspective of your game AND 1st Person perspective would probably have helped me a lot when I first started. Your game and channel really are great have helped me a great deal…thanks for the work you do!

I hate having to reach over the steering wheel to use the keyboard, while awkwardly looking up and under the VR headset, its very uncomfortable. For playing any VR game with a mouse, especially ATS, I'd recommend getting an MMO mouse which can have up to 12 buttons on the side. I've used Razer and Logitech and have to recommend Logitech's MMO mouse for its 'G-shift' button for your ring finger which while pressed allows a completely different set of key binds, essentially doubling the TWENTY buttons on the mouse. It also happens to be one of the cheapest MMO mouse at only ~$50USD.

When Western Star 5700XE was just released in this game, I was only mildly interested until I saw the gigantic window on the right side back. Would have not even noticed if I didn't watch this channel.

1st person shooter (or driver) games have always made me sick, even on normal non-VR screens. VR makes me sick in just a few minutes. I’ve heard that dramamine can help. Higher detail settings can also help. But I’ve noticed that if I just tough it out and keep playing (or take a break for a few minutes), after a few days the nausea will stop…sometimes. 😉

For VR, I heard that when you first try out and get dizzy, you should immediately take a break before the brain starts to associate the dizziness with VR and make it always a dizzy experience no matter what.

I think the biggest help for motion sickness in vr is higher frame rate. 72hz is pretty smooth but shooting for atleast 80hz is best. If you have an oculus headset on pc, get oculus tray tool and turn on asynchronous timewarp. I think by default it's set to auto. Which makes it turn on and off, causing weird unstable motion.

@@NelleShadowblue - I’ve never heard that. Basically most information that I’ve found on the subject and my own experience indicate that you can build up a tolerance if you play for a while until you feel sick, take a break, then play some more.

Nope, This is American Truck Simulator for the PC you can get it though Stream.

I think he means you need to horizontally flip the recording of yourself to match up how you turn the wheel in the game with how you’re turning it on camera!
