Blindside is a two-person strategy game like no other. Although it uses some mechanics from checkers and borrows some of the gameplay from chess, Blindside is in a class of its own.
Game pieces are loaded with arrows that determine the direction and number of spaces they can move each turn. Successfully attack your opponent's pieces to capture their arrows and restrict their movements. Use action spaces to rotate your piece or change direction mid-move.
Combine Blindside's unique gameplay with reconfigurable game spaces, multiple arrow configurations, and an interlocking board system that allows games to be played on 1, 2, 3 or all 4 of its pieces, and you've got the ultimate game of directional domination.

I'm afraid you're mistaken. Visit any comic or game store and you'll see entire walls fileld with board games ranging from Warhammer 40K, Catan, Lord of the Rings, Lunchmoney, Blokus, and so on. I go to several gaming/role playing conventions each year, and I can assure you that tabletop and board games are still widely played.

If chess has anything it's variables, in fact this is the reason why supercomputers can't conquer this game using brute computational power alone. Heck, I don't need to tell you people this; go look it up for yourselves. But just to impose on you the vastness of the number of possible chess games (10^120) as Diego Rasskin-Gutman does in his book "Chess Metaphors", There are more possible games of chess than atoms in the universe. :)

I can't imagine why not. Think about it. If we assume the basic version is for two, adding more games increases the numbers of players, or the length of the 2 players. Games like these are really versatile.
