A lot of people assume Damian is the one who gave him all his cuts but Nightwing took the sword from him before the fight started. Meanwhile the dude with the Claws was still there. Nightwing probably had to fight both Damian and Claw guy at the same time leading from him getting slashed by both

Yeah Damien’s attitude and ability to beat people he really shouldn’t have any business beating were the main reasons people did not like him at first, but he’s gotten a lot better since then

He is an interesting character for sure, but these first fanfiction-like appearances were so tainting for him, to me atleast. A very annoying character who kept not learning any lessons. There was some fun stories with the guy, but overall his beginning was simply too annoying for me to like him. By now, i am am mostly okay with the character.

In the comics Damian left batman after using the first Batman beyond suit to become the new leader of the league of assassins. When he first meets Terry they’re enemies but eventually they get on more friendly terms and become reluctant allies.

Damian is my favorite Robin along with Tim and his character development is amazing to read about. The people who hate him because he’s “Brat” or “annoying” is understandable and right. But, people need to realize what he has been though and the environment he grow up in. Especially with that kind of mother he has. Anyway he’s my favorite he’s a interesting character. Edit: Plus, he’s a kid and his personality and interaction with people was the only way he was taught to be. They weren’t anyone else to teach him to be kind and respectful.

Damian's background may explain why he is the way he is but it doesn't excuse his bad behavior and attitude. I feel like these Direct to Video DC films never gave Damian the proper growth he needed to become more likable. By the time we got to Batman: Bat Blood he was tolerable, but in Justice League vs the Teens Titans he was insufferable in the first half. Whereas in films like Batman vs Ninja Turtles and Injustice they have a better balance of Damian being an angsty but likable kid and not going around acting like he's better than everyone.

How does expect a child who raise terribly to act respectful. Plus, Batman isn’t a good parent. So, I don’t know what people expect from Damian if he isn’t taught to be mature and act his age. It’s like asking a child who wasn’t taught how to read to read a book. You’re not going to get anything. I’m not asking people to adore and love Damian. But, to understand where he’s coming from. His actions and behavior isn’t 100% his fault. He wasn’t raise in a environment to understand how to treat people.

Love the reference of Inverse Ninja theory, which on TV Tropes is called the Conservation of Ninjutsu. If you don't know it, basically, the more enemies there are, the weaker they tend to be, compared to just one.

While I love Damian in this movie, and in this universe, I hate how much of a Mary Sue he can sometimes be when it comes to fights and physicality. My dude is what, 11 in this movie? Yeah, unless he's actively superhuman, training and genes be damned, he should not be physically as strong, if not stronger than most of the grown men in this story. His body simply has not had enough time to develop for him to be physically pushing around people much larger and older than him. Also, that stunt he pulled with the swords in his wrists? Yeah, no. Even if he didn't bleed out (and that's a big if), he would likely have permanent nerve damage, and shouldn't've even been able to grip the second sword, much less pull it out and continue fighting. And even if he did do all of that, he should definitely be able to have full function of his hands without extensive surgery and physical therapy. That is not a type of wound you shrug off like he did.

One of my gribes in that last fight is Damien had both his arms impaled and he shrugged it off.. I would be fine with it if it was like he secretly had a healing factor but no he just a very skilled kid.. that can get stabbed in probably vital muscles and just is like "eh" Also just.. Damien was bit too skilled like sure he was trained by the League but he is a kid.. just something urked me a bit about him
