I'm really sad with all the hate this game is getting. Seems really senseless, but its also been amplified because its Naughty Dog. Which is strange 'cause... everyone's been memeing about Naughty Dog not making a new IP, now they do and all they get is hate for it again? The only legit criticisms I've heard are the corporate logos (which is valid, and maybe could be an artistic choice to depict a cyberpunk corporate future a la Blade Runner?). But the whining about the protag being a woman with a shaved head is absolutely insane.

There's no way I'm buying a game from naughty dog after last of us 2 It was such a waste of money and I'm not making the same mistake twice. The writing only focused on surface level shock value and had no immersion with character development or world building. For example, I believe good writing will get a person to a place where they feel like crying, and the fact that I didn't get near that place when Joel died surprised me. I was so invested in that character from the first game. Even a mediocre writer could have made that a much more emotional experience. Then I was forced to play as an unlikable antagonist, which was not an enjoyable experience at all. I just kept letting the zombies kill me cause I didnt care if she lived or died, and after a few hours I realized it wasn't going to return to Ellie and I was going to be stuck playing her for a while, so I just quit playing. And I always finish a game when I start it, so that was a first. Further showing me how much I really don't like this game. And, after watching the ending on Utube, I'm so glad I quite when I did. It was such a waste of money, and I'm not exaggerating when I say the worse game I've ever played. There's no way I will buy a game from them again.

@Luz4SiKio I don't have very much available time for games but I've played a few of these, both RDR games are masterpieces and I'm currently in the middle of Ghost of Tsushima which I'm enjoying. But for me personally TLOU2 was something else, aside from really liking the gameplay and the storytelling, something about it stayed with me for long after I'd normally forget about and move on from other games, it felt like when I've put down a great book. But anyway, each to their own... and I can't play FPS games, they make me dizzy!

@@katieee1203 Not even that. It's like 4 lines of dialogue. The rest is like 3 minutes of mood. But it's not even worth trying to make any kind of point with these people. Jordan is the trifecta of what these guys use the word "woke" to hide behind in expressing their hatred: Brown, female, with a non "standard" hairstyle. Could very well be game of the year but they'll always hate it because they're hateful people
