I'm so glad I saw this video I made a pair of hightops for myself my first pair of sneakers. I used your glue and I lost some stones but I noticed that you were pressing on the inside of the shoe as well. I don't think I did that like you did. I was thinking that maybe I should add more glue it just soaks right into the material. I was so excited to wear them I don't think I waited long enough. The toe was prefect I haven't lost any stones.

Adding more glue might help, but be cautious not to overdo it, as it could affect the overall look and feel of your hightops. Krystal Glaze is waterproof once fully cured (approximately 48 hours). However, it will break down over time if it is exposed to immersion in water for too long and too often. We can recommend always prep items, depending on what you’re making, before applying rhinestones. For example: When creating a bling cup/shoes and you paint before adding rhinestones … 1. Sand cup with sandpaper to remove any shiny finishes. 2. Wipe down with at least 70% alcohol 3. Paint with acrylic paint or spray paint 4. Seal paint with Modpodge sealant 5.
