No it’s not. He completely relies on backing tracks live to the point he’s barely playing at all on some songs. I don’t even trust that he does all of the studio guitars anymore. Probably has the Rubins do it for him.

@@DetroitLionsDynastyNah he doesn’t solely rely on the backing tracks; they’re just there to add layers and blink are best as a three piece so it’s what they have to do instead of getting an additional play And for songs like Dance with Me it sounds cool with Tom adding little riffs here and there alongside the rhythms, plus it often allows him to concentrate on singing more and allows him to be more energetic especially on Bored to Death where he’s getting the crowd involved Plus doesn’t change the fact that on recordings he’s playing everything guitar wise apart from Fuck Face but then he plays it live

He’s made some great songs and riffs but Tom has to be the laziest live guitarist of all time. Actually in old videos in particular around Dude Ranch he used to be good at singing and playing live.
