The only Tom song I’ve seen him be able to play correctly is Dammit. Yes the fingering is different but he’s still playing the same notes and in time. But maybe that’s because Mark wrote that riff instead of Tom. Matt can’t play any of Tom’s riffs well as far as I know.

Sounds awesome, bass is a little off, as it doesn’t follow the guitar fret for fret. If you listen and watch you can hear that the main riff is: D (A 5th fret), A (open A or 5th E), B (2nd A or 7th E), then does something fun at 10th if A, 12th A, 10th, and 9th. Also in the chorus “just you wait and see”… Mark does something different than Tom again. Have a listen, I find the bass clearer on the Buddha version. I have been playing this song for years, and just realized all of the above today after listening very carefully. And EDIT: just watched a video of Mark playing live, keep playing the way you play it. Seems like what I mentioned above is album only.
