I never felt it was my fault, I guess I was lucky in that respect, but having someone there to say "shit happens," "live YOUR life," "love both your parents, don't judge them, it's their life" and so on really helped me understand & build up my self-esteem. I will always be in debt for those times and I guess if you show yourself to be a genuine friend, they too won't forget what you did for them.

Some pretty awesome scream moments from Tom here, unlike any in recollection. He just needs to find a balance, at moments reigning in the crazy mouth shapes he makes to produce those odd pronunciations--which can be one of the best aspects of his signature vocal sound when utilized tactfully. Often it's the timing that's problematic, rather than pitch or enunciation. Lazy delivery just doesn't suit a punk instrumental.

Ahhh forget about Toms vocals, ever since he changed amps his guitar sounds like it's taking a crap after too much spicey mexican food with beans and shit.

Raymon aaahhh, spoken like a guy who knows fuck all... he played all the early stuff on modded strats with big double wound p90, you may or may not have noticed that latterly he played gretsch with electromatic/filter tron pick ups.. he could've played through a "make the guitars all sound the same" amp and they'd still have a different tone.

Raymon just in case you didn't spot my point he didn't change the amp... he bought a grown up guitar..

+James Ogilvie Don't get me started on Tom's guitars... Early on he used a modded Strat with a Dimarzio at the bridge, later he added a Les Paul to his collection, then the signature Strat happened before moving on to the Gibson.. Never seen Tom play anything with modded P90's or a budget ranged Gretsch.. He might have used different styled guitars for recording the self tiitled album, I've seen footage of him playing a Rickenbacker and a modded Telecaster. His amps nowadays sound crap because he has the speakers bypassed so there's no drumsounds leaking into his guitarsound at the mixingdesk. I've been playing guitar for 17 years now, had a ridiculous amount of guitars and still do. So I like to think that I know what I'm talking about.. Tom actully got me into picking up a guitar in '98

+James Ogilvie His signature Strat has a Seymour Duncan Invader at the bridge and the Gibson a Dirty Fingers... Clearly not something you'd normally find in a Gretsch, he actually used a red Gibson ES before getting his 'new' signature model.. Sorry I'm a bit of a guitarnerd who happens to know fuck all..

Tom is awesome. Mark is the one who can't sing live.

Mark has never been a bad singer live.

Mark's too soft and Tom's too slurry, they both complete eachother

Obvious troll is obvious. Mark is the good singer/musician/lyricist. Tom sucks.
