How is this even legal! That elbow with that much force to the head can drop you dead instantly, That can definitely give you a bad concussion if you're lucky, but if you are not then you can have severe trauma to the brain, ruptured nerves or internal bleeding, hemorrhage your blood vessels, it's just nuts to think about the fighters taking this much damage and still alive. Seriously gotta respect the fighters for putting their lives on the line every time they step in the Octagon.

It’s not that powerful of an elbow. Your basic straight elbow generates more power. The guy who got knocked out was complacent and thought he was safe with his head straight up. The placement of the strike, the sneakiness of it and the guys own complacency are why it seems so dangerous. Still dangerous just not as dangerous as getting a straight punch or straight elbow
