I really admire how much thought Zoë put into the creation of this film, you can tell how passionate she is about it.

Ooooh that would be a nice collab 🤔 they’re very similar. I feel like her style. Would be his if he like. Toned it down a notch. Or focused on not being SO out of the box. lol. Not that I don’t like that about Jordan. But. Idk. Jmo 🤷🏽♂️

7:18 this is so beautiful so so beautiful and shows me so much faith in the industry. i think what makes this film so profound is the care behind it and specifically the care that zoe put into it. additionally i really enjoy what the cast said abt zoe’s style as a director and how she was able to make it so much herself when it’s her first time. as an artist it’s something i always grapple with bc i don’t want to put out things that aren’t 100% me but at the same time ppl will always say “you gotta start somewhere” but like no, so it’s super inspirational seeing someone’s first of something be 100% them. i’m rly so happy on the artistic side to have seen this film

Zoe is such a smart and unique soul that has brought such a brilliant take on what society should acknowledge of yet still bring a thrilling and intense film to the mainstream world of film making. I am in awe of her work in this and such an amazing performance from the cast and sound design craftsmanship. 👏🏻

I just got home from this and I feel haunted by it. I also deeply appreciate the opening trigger warning. I want to see someone put together all of the flash fragments we see throughout the film.

this movie was CRAZYYYYYYYY. i liked it but it made me feel so wild. really makes you think about things especially with everything thats going on with epstein's island and diddy and a bunch of wild things in the industry and with rich people....very interesting

Yeah it feels strange to comprehend. In my opinion I think that’s 100% part of the reason for this movie. It 100% happens all the time in the industry

The way people can come across so kind and friendly but do all this awful stuff behind the scenes. There’s definitely a lot of people in Hollywood that I hold this question mark over.

It's an amazing movie, however... depending on your age, if you weren't an adult at the time it was released, you'll get very offended. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy it's eccentricity. It's making fun of a lot of movies from the eighties and the culture of the time. Honestly I think anyone under 30 will get shocked and annoyed and angry if they watch it. You have to know going into it all the references to eighties and seventies blockbuster films. Fair warning. Biggest reference is a film called Heart of Darkness by Francis Ford Coppola (The Godfather series)

Good to have a film that points at those in power who do such things. P Diddy and his friends and Epstein. Though I wonder who knows more and isn’t telling. Also would have liked to have seen the other women be more realistic and tactful when they remembered and teamed up, and played along and found a way out together.

Why would she want to make a movie about women being taken advantage of at an island.

@airmykii40904 ай бұрын
There’s always gotta be one lol you probably didn’t see the movie or probably too slow to get it…. As someone who studied film in college I’m “cinematically literate” and can say this was one of the best films this year yet alone one of the absolute best directorial debuts .. it’s a great piece of work .. ykw .. it’s a masterpiece actually
Do you realize that this movie is almost the same story as 365dni and 50 shades of grey but without the romantic ending and the drugs but above all a short reality?

They have no balls to make a real thriller, with deep meanings, an Epstein Island story that absolutely smashes your brain. This is just a childish lazy version of that. Absolutely no realism
